We are so proud of all of our graduates.
Today we’d like to lift up Shelly and congratulate her on all she has accomplished through Christ. Shelly is a working mom of two beautiful girls, one in school and the other a beautiful bouncing baby soon to be walking.
Shelly has completed her year long program here at SAFE but she still participates in some of our activities. Her main focus now is to work hard and save enough money to be able to afford an apartment of her own and purchase a car that will make it easier for her to get back and forth to work when she gets out on her own.
She is an inspiration to many of the girls here at SAFE. Shelly has overcome addiction and is making a clean and sober life for her and her two beautiful girls. It has been a lot of hard work and yes there were times I’m sure that she wanted to just walk away but rather than that she prayed, prayed to God to give her strength to get through. It is by Gods strength wisdom and understanding that He gives us when we call on Him to help us through trying times.
God was there for Shelly when she needed Him most and He is always there for all of us if we would put our trust in Him . There is no addiction stronger than God and He promises to work all things to the good for those who love and trust in Him. Put your trust in the Lord today and watch as He breaks the chains that bind you. It doesn’t matter what the addiction is… heroin, meth, marijuana, cocaine, alcohol, even tobacco or what the situation is, He will help you through it if place your trust in Him.
